About Nova

Looking for a Loving Home for Nova ��%BD��%BD%90%BE It breaks our hearts to make this decision, but we're looking to rehome our beautiful purebred Bloodhound, Nova. She's just over a year old and full of personality, loyalty, and affection. We love her deeply, but we've realized she would thrive in a different environment than we're currently able to provide. Nova came to us after being returned to a breeder by an older couple who found that the energy of a young dog was more than they could manage. Since joining our family, she has brought so much joy and has shown herself to be incredibly intelligent and loving. She's currently in a home with children and other pets, but we feel she would truly shine in a quieter home-ideally with an individual or couple who has experience with dogs and the time to give her the attention and space she needs to continue developing into the amazing dog we know she can be. Nova would love a large, fenced yard to run and play in, and a person who is patient and committed to helping her grow. She has some challenges around sharing food and toys, likely influenced by her past living situation, and we believe she would do best as the only pet in a home without small children. With the right environment and continued support, we truly believe Nova will thrive. We are located close to Ridgeville, SC. Also to make sure she is going to a safe home, we do require references and a phone interview before the adoption can be finalized.
