Seattle, WA Age: Loki (male) is 5 years old and Oona (female) is 4 years old *** No Children under the age of 12 *** *** Not good with other cats or dogs *** Loki and Oona are literally the most perfect bonded pair! Their owner has been facing serious medical issues, and is struggling to give them the attention that they dearly deserve. Clearly a Star Wars fan, their owner lovingly gave them the names Loki Skywalker and Oona Sunrider. These two are absolutely inseparable, and they have so much love to offer. Easygoing yet playful, these two are always on the go. Here's what their owner asked us to share with you: Loki (brown-marbled) Age: 5.5 yrs (DOB: 9/26/2019) Personality: Loki is a snuggle monster and very bonded to me. He's like my shadow, who will cry, 'Meowmy? Meowmy?' the minute I leave the room, although isn't nearly as loud or as vocal as some Bengals are. Loki is small for a Bengal, weighing in at 8 lbs. He is on a wet food diet, as his tummy is a bit sensitive to kibble. Loki is a sweet, chill, lover boy, although a bit demanding, who wants never-ending pets and head scratches, and lets me pick him up and snuggle him, like a rag-doll. He is happiest curled up next to me, on the sofa while I work or read, or in bed while I'm sleeping. He lives up to his playful namesake by playing fetch with spring toys, antagonizing his sister with head bops to instigate a wrestling match, and turning into a demon at the vet (so I usually need to give him a sedative beforehand). Oona (brown-rosetted) Age: 5 yrs (DOB: 4/10/2020) Personality: Oona is the more aloof of the two, but she's very very sweet and also the more playful of the two. She is obsessed with her fish toy (made from a parachute cloth, piece of bamboo, tape & string), and she begs to play with fish before breakfast and dinner (playing fish with her is the quickest way to win her heart). Oona is extremely bright and surely trainable to do and learn far more than I have had the time or inclination to teach her. She is shy and sweet, and really needs to feel safe to for her personality to shine and to snuggle with you. She's most responsive to calm, quiet energy. When she's feeling affectionate, she will head-butt or gently nip your armpit to let you know she wants your attention. Don't be surprised to find her curled inside your stinkiest shirt or jacket! As they are a bonded pair, they cannot be separated; they will only be adopted together. Together, Loki and Oona are deeply bonded / co-dependent. They often nap and play together, wrestling, chasing, or grooming each other. They don't seem to mind dogs and have lived with an elderly female cat belonging to my former housemate with mixed results (Oona ignored her; Loki bullied her). I have their pedigree paperwork available, as both were bought from reputable breeders. Health: Both are up to date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped and in excellent health. Recently their owner invested in a dental for both of them; Oona's needed six extractions, and Loki also had a cleaning this month. Ideal Home: They are indoor cats who are well-loved, and they are used to a peaceful yet stimulating environment. They are full of energy and love to explore and play, but they also enjoy their quiet moments together.
