Hello, We adopted Brownie from a shelter when we were in Texas in January 2023. He was found on the streets and seemed to have endured significant trauma. Back then, he was extremely timid, rarely made a sound, and spent most of his time huddled in a corner. Over the past year, he has made remarkable progress, though there's still some way to go. He remains quiet and prefers to stay in his usual spot for eating, sleeping, and resting. However, he has started wagging his tail enthusiastically during walks. He's also well-behaved indoors and doesn't have accidents, provided he's taken outside at least twice daily, and he completes his business quickly. Brownie doesn't mind the company of cats or other dogs. As I've recently started attending college in Dallas, and with my parents leading very hectic schedules, I feel he might thrive better with someone who can devote more time and affection to him. If you're willing to give Brownie a loving home and a consistent routine, I'd be deeply grateful.
