About Stanley

Stanley is a 3 year old pure bred English Mastiff registered AKC however he is not fully intact. Stanley is extremely loyal, and loves his people fiercely he gets the most joy being around and loving on the people he has the deepest bond with. He gets along well with other dogs, and loves to play. Good with cats, seems to be okay with other animals as well (ie goats). He is not food bowl possessive nor is he possessive with his stuff around other dogs. Recently he has begun to get a little testy around strangers, and unfortunately we have children and grandchildren that are only at the house a few times a year as they live out of state. He has never bitten anyone, but has let people know he doesn't want them around. He is a very smart dog and is exceptional on leash and pickups commands quickly. He would likely excel with a person that can integrate him slowly with more people and help him get used to being around people. Unfortunately our life does not offer us the ability. An owner that has some space for him to roam, and loves dog snuggles is what we would be looking for. We are located in Southeast Michigan.
