About Auggie

Auggie is a sweet, loyal and loving dog who needs someone to work with him regarding aggression as he wants to 'herd' everyone. Our adult son and his fiance got him without researching the breed, and they moved out and into their own place which didn't take dogs. We kept Auggie and he's a true cattle dog who needs a single owner and preferably the ability to go to work every day. He has aggressive tendencies around food, other animals and children, and would need a very specific fit. We would do almost anything to find him a good home and hate to have to do this. He is truly loved, well cared for, would make the right person the best companion ever. You'd probably have to take him with you where-ever you go. He's great in public and warms easily to new people if you are there, but don't try to leave without him. He's a 5 year old neutered male, and has all shots up to date. He gets heartworm meds and reacts well to shock collar, which we use humanly.
