About Keebler

Adopt Keebler Male Long Haired Chihuahua 2-3 years old Fence Required Meet Keebler! He is a Long-haired Chihuahua about 2-3 years old. He has to be an only dog. He needs to have a fence. He is a big fan of music and he sings along if it's a song he likes. He loves water and it calms him. He is a great swimmer. In the pool is the only time we have been able to hold him in our arms. We haven't been able to put a harness and leash on him yet. He is not potty trained but he does use a potty pad for pooping. He loves to go outside and run around. He has his own private bedroom that is fenced at the doorway and he goes into a little cage so I can take him outside alone. It takes him time to let his guard down with new people. The longer he is with you, he begins to relax. When he feels threatened or afraid he will try to bite. Handling him in the beginning is tricky. He will eventually be willing to sit on your lap as long as it's on his terms. He also tries to kiss you but he does startle easily and could nip. He has made tons of progress in his foster home but there is still need for caution as could still nip like he did when he first arrived in foster care. He has so many moments of joy and growth, the potential is so obvious. Keebler is fostered in Columbus, OH.
