About Rocket

Meet Rocket - Playful, Loving, and Ready for His Forever Family! Rocket has been with us since June 2024. He came to us as a 3-month-old puppy after a volunteer overheard his owner saying he'd shoot him and his sisters when he couldn't sell them. His sisters have since been adopted, and now it's Rocket's turn to find a home. Rocket is a Doberman/Shepherd mix with a sleek black-and-tan coat and a fun, lively personality. He's loving, smart, and eager to please. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is learning to walk on a leash, improving every day. Rocket sometimes shows a bit of herding behavior, like gentle nipping when excited, which is typical for his breed mix. He's neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He's been waiting far too long for a family of his own. You can meet Rocket at the ICARE shelter (214 Circle Dr, Melbourne, AR 72556) Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
