PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 1. Adult only home 4-year-old male Pom Chi, about 7 pounds. Mouse is a shy guy but warms up quickly. He does fine with other dogs and likes to play. He is learning to walk on the leash and figure out the big scary world. He would like another confident dog in the home to help show him the way. He would likely ignore a cat and does not want the craziness of a house with kiddos. He needs regular brushing, as he matts easily and came into rescue with a badly matted coat. He is great for grooming. as he has sat through several sessions of de-matting in order to save his beautiful coat! All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
