Please help us find a loving, forever home (or foster and rescue) for this adorable young man named Oso. He was found as a stray in neglected condition and taken to the Bonita shelter. While his owner was later found, sadly, they opted to surrender him due to landlord reasons. However, they at least let the shelter know some nice things about him and said they 'had him for 2 years, he did well around children and other pets, calm when left alone, and enjoys toys, treats, and walks.' Oso seems to have lived as an outdoor dog and therefore may need to be potty trained. The shelter noticed he is generally easy to handle, but head whips when touching flanks/rear so he may have some sensitive areas. The poor young guy has noted 'Matted unkempt coat, mild dental tartar, moderate otitis AU and alopecia (shoulder, dorsum), all treatable and some already being addressed, so hopefully we can find a better home for him he so deserves. We were given nice video of Oso enjoying being pet and showing his gentle demeanor. Oso was just neutered, weighs 61 lbs and is ready to go home.
