Good Companion Animal, Well-behaved as a house dog. Failed livestock guardian, twice - unreliable with sheep, pigs or poultry unless under direct supervision. Likes walks, treat-motivated, does well with cats, female dogs. Has had small-breed dog companion, large-breed dog companion, and cats in house. Can be left in house while you are at work. Potty-trained. Will get your attention vocally when he needs to go out to poo/pee. Will bark at strangers who come to your door. Yard with fence required. Preference for experienced large breed dog owner. Anatolians have slow metabolisms so they don't eat as much as most large breed animals and will lie around inside. Anatolians are not a good fit for first-time dog owners.
