Courtesy posting: URGENT! FRIENDLY AND ADORABLE 'BOWZER' AT SAN BERNARDINO CITY SHELTER WHICH IS FULL - THIS BOY IS BOTH PEOPLE AND DOG FRIENDLY WITH KENNEL MATES, NEEDS A LOVING AND RESPONSIBLE HOME, OR FOSTER AND RESCUE ASAP, BEFORE HE IS EUTHANIZED FOR SPACE! BOWZER - ID #A581860 San Bernardino City Shelter, in So Cal Help! The SBC shelter is full, and we would love to find dear Bowzer a wonderful home (or foster) before his time runs out. Bowzer was found as a stray and is believed to be only 7 years young with no know medical issues. He has been overlooked because he was originally listed as a lab and chow mix for some unknown reason. His tongue is pink. The shelter finally just updated his breed to flat coated retriever, which he resembles, and dropped the chow breed, although we do not know his exact breed but he definitely looks like some sort of retriever. What we do know is that the shelter told us, he 'has no medical or behavioral concerns. He has been kenneled with other dogs with no concerns so far.' He can be also be seen in video very calm. If you are interested to adopt Bowzer and give him a forever home, please contact the shelter directly using his link: https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/SBCT/A581860 or by calling San Bernardino City Animal Control at (909) 384-1304 and ask his ID. If you can foster for a rescue, please ALSO contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to assist the shelter with his placement, given rescue groups also need a foster to usually save a dog.
