This 7-month-old Yorkie-Shih Tzu mix weighs 6 pounds. Don't let his size fool you; this little guy is bursting with playful energy and endless cuteness. Modi starts each day with excitement, ready to play fetch, bounce around like a jumping bean, or engage in a game of tug-o-war with his favorite rope toy. He loves walks in cool, shady wooded areas, where he'll happily trot along and occasionally plop down to take in the sights and sounds. When Modi is not out on an adventure, you'll often find him perched on the back of the couch, keeping watch on the world through the window with all the seriousness of a tiny, furry neighborhood patrol. He's full of adorable quirks, like his tiny woofs when he's begging for attention, the way he bounces with joy when you walk into the room, and his hilarious fascination with window watching. Modi is crate trained and will whine when he needs to go out. He's still working on some aspects of house training and would probably do well with a belly band indoors. He's also learning how to be patient at mealtime. He loves food a little too much, so a slow feeder helps him pace himself. Modi knows a few commands like 'sit' and 'beg,' and he's working on 'leave it.' He's incredibly smart and eager to please, especially when treats are involved. He's fantastic with well-mannered children, showing lots of affection and patience, and he enjoys their company whether they're playing or just hanging out. He's even met chickens (through a fence) and was more curious than anything else, showing no fear and just a desire to play. He rides wonderfully in the car and often naps along the way. We think he'd be an ideal companion for an adventurous family.
