Meet Callie Mae 2-3 Year Old English Setter / Cocker Spaniel Mix Available for Adoption at Henry Trimble Animal Shelter Callie Mae is as close to perfect as they come. This sweet, gentle girl is around 2-3 years old and has a heart of gold. She's fantastic with cats and children, and while she can be selective with other dogs, she does well with calm companions and thrives with slow introductions. Pushy or overly loud animals aren't her style-Callie Mae prefers a peaceful environment where she can shine. She loves attention and being near her people, and she truly wants to learn and please. She's eager to absorb everything you want to teach her and takes direction better than most dogs we've ever met. She's house trained (only two accidents!) and crate trained-though she's not a fan of the crate, she'll tolerate it when needed. She walks beautifully on leash and is very easy to redirect if something catches her interest. Callie Mae would do best in a home where she can be the center of attention or with a calm, respectful dog friend. Her temperament is sweet, steady, and so rewarding.
