He weighs about 90 lbs and carries every pound with grace and charm. (Henry also does have his tail, as it was never removed) Henry's story began on a heartbreaking note: he was found abandoned at a bus stop, left alone and confused. Thankfully, a kind woman took him in and gave him love, safety, and a soft place to land. But now, due to ongoing issues with HOA restrictions and neighbor complaints, she's faced with the painful decision to find Henry a new home where he can thrive. Despite his rough start, Henry is a happy, loving boy who's great with other dogs and would do just fine in a home with teenagers or older kids. Because of his size, young or small children aren't the best fit-he could accidentally knock them over, even with the best intentions. Henry is: House-trained Sleeps soundly through the night Loves his bedtime treat ritual Generally quiet, but barks when excited or when he wants something Unsure about cats, so a cat-free home is probably best He's used to an early bedtime, enjoys routine, and thrives on love and companionship. What he needs now is someone with the space, patience, and heart to give him the life he truly deserves. If you have room in your home and heart for a loyal, loving, and majestic companion-Henry may just be your perfect match. My biggest addiction is empathy, and it's very hard for me to turn my back on a dog. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago. I actually had surgery September 4th, and was in the hospital for 2 months due to complications and infections. When they came to me for help to find Henry the home he needs, I just couldn't say no, as I know Im really good at matching appropriately, and it was important to me that he is carefully and properly placed. My goal is to make sure Henry finds a final forever loving home. Please in a single family home with a privacy fence only...no chainlink fences. My goal is to make sure I get Henry the home that he needs and deserves with someone who will love him and give him all the care and attention and affection that he deserves for the rest of his life and be able to be committed to him physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. The best thing I could possibly do for Henry is to find him a forever loving home where he will be happy ..'Till death do you part'. . I have made the commitment to Henry to make sure I find him the opportunity to find the right home he needs and deserves. My promise to him now is to make sure I find him the best forever home with one who will love him for the rest of his long life ahead ....an individual, couple or family who will continue to let us know how wonderfully he is doing. Henry will be your best friend. Will you be his?? I am looking to find the perfect person / couple / family who will give him as much as he deserves. HE IS THE FRIEND YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER...WILL YOU LOVE HIM? Henry is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm tested, heartworm negative, on heartworm & flea/tick prevention, microchipped (and microchip remains in my name indefinitely for his safety...more than happy to explain) & if u adopt him, you MUST keep him on both & up to date with yearly check ups & vaccines. A phone interview, home check, vet reference check and rehoming fee of $600 will be required.. PLS DONT EMAIL (WILL NOT REPLY).....PLS CALL Heather 954-534-5606 w/any questions/interest.
