EMERGENCY PLEA FOR GUS! Please read and share to help save a life! Meet Gus, a 4-year-old Basset Hound with the sweetest soul. Gus is living a nightmare and his time is running out. His young owner, just 18, got him on impulse and now wants nothing to do with him. She's threatened to dump him in a remote area or take him to a kill shelter where his days will be numbered. Right now, Gus lives outside 24/7 in the sweltering heat, with no escape from the sun. He's never allowed inside, not even for a break from the scorching temperatures. He's often left without food or water, and his only crime is wanting to be loved. Despite everything, he remains a gentle, loving soul who craves affection. He's great with other dogs, friendly, and has a heart that just wants to belong. Can you be his hero? We need an urgent 911 foster to step up and give this boy a soft place to land.
