About Matilda

Matilda is a 4 year old Chiweenie that weighs approx 15 lbs and is ready for her furever home through PAWS Rescue inc. From her foster mom, Paula M: I wanted to tell you about the sweetest dog, Matilda! She had a bit of a rough start - her puppies were taken away too early - but she's blossomed in her foster home. She's become best buds with her foster brothers and sisters (dogs!), the cat, and even the kids! She's a real sweetheart, though she does get a little possessive of her toys (nothing aggressive, just a 'mine!' kind of thing). She's also quite the watchdog - squirrels beware! Chickens, definitely beware! ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD She can be a little shy with strangers at first, but once she warms up, she's a total cuddle bug. Matilda *loves* being outside and is perfectly potty trained. She's also happy to hang out without a crate. She gets a little anxious when I leave, but I think that'll improve with time and lots of love. The best part? Matilda is SO eager to please! She knows when she's done something wrong and gives the cutest little apology. She's a fantastic listener and always looks for approval - a real people-pleaser! She'll be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your very best friend. Seriously, Matilda is one-of-a-kind and already holds a special place in my heart. I just know she's going to make someone incredibly happy! *Fenced yard required. *Another small- medium playful dog in the home required.
