[Read About Natural Cancer Care] I'm the dog walker at Arnold Animal Control. This wonderful, chill older guy named Doug (I call him Opie) has Benign blood vessel tumors on his privates and one or two of them have burst open in his cage and are bloody. I and another volunteer put some antiseptic and protectant on his wounds yesterday, and bathed him. The bleeding has definitely slowed down since then. HOWEVER, we were told that unless a rescue pulls him by sometime Monday, they are going to euthanize him because they don't want to clean up the blood. I and a couple other people are trying to find a rescue willing to get him out of there and pay for part of his surgery if possible, and then a few of us would raise funds for the rest. Animal Control was quoted $500-700 I believe? He cannot be in that cement cage bleeding and getting infected , needs a temporary foster to help him with his wound care and Save His Life until surgery can be done. I already have 3 dogs and can't house any more, or I would do it. PLEASE help us secure a rescue, MOST IMPORTANTLY, need the foster that will take care of him temporarily. Thank you!! Contact: Garry/Jennifer at 636-282-2387 PS!! He is good natured, calm, and friendly with people and other animals! I would guess him to be 8 or 9? Hard to tell, but he definitely isn't young. He looks big in the photo but is actually only about 35-40 pounds.
