Nova is a vibrant, two year old Pomsky (Pomeranian Siberian Husky), weighing a healthy 20 pounds-right in the standard size range for the breed, which typically falls between 20-30lbs . Her story began under dire circumstances: animal control rescued her after a report surfaced of a woman breeding thirteen dogs inside her car, and Nova-who had already had two litters-was among those confined in that unsafe environment. Despite her past, Nova has blossomed into an intelligent, playful, loyal, and affectionate companion. Pomskies are known for thriving in active homes, and Nova is no exception: she excels when given daily physical and mental stimulation, such as walks, interactive play, or puzzle toys. Although she can show a touch of stubbornness-heritage from her Husky side-she responds beautifully to calm, consistent, positive-reinforcement training. Her luxurious double coat requires regular grooming to manage seasonal shedding and keep her comfortable, though it isn't considered overly high maintenance. Nova will thrive in a structured, affectionate home-one where she receives plenty of attention, engagement, and opportunity to bond with her humans. She's ready to bring immeasurable joy and loyalty to her forever family. We are placing Nova (Mom) for adoption at $400. Please apply at www.misfitsdogrescue.org
