Copper was surrendered to our animal hospital because the owner wanted to euthanize him because he was 'aggressive' and 'resource guards.' We have not witnessed any sort of aggression or resource guarding in the three months we have had him. The previous owner did admit that their toddler could get pushy with Copper and didn't respect his boundaries. Regardless of this, Copper is a sweet, loving boy who just needs someone who understands his breed and sets firm boundaries with him.
