About Tru

My name is Tru (kind of short for Truman). I am a Maltese! I am mini and mighty at 8.5 lbs and 8 years old. I am a great companion. Unfortunately, my person can no longer care for me due to personal reasons. I am what you would think a little dog is - I love laps and I want to be around my people. I am crate-trained and relaxed when left alone. I am housebroken. I often think I am 85 lbs, especially when on leash! I like to venture on walks but I can be reactive to other dogs. I mean, I need to protect myself and my people right? I would really appreciate a fenced in yard where I can zoom around in my own space and not have to be on the other end of a leash all the time. I have been around dogs off leash occasionally without issue but I have lived my years as an only, why change it? I have been around young children visitors quite often without issue too. Cats?
