About Litter of 5-Eclips

Update 8/11/25*** The babies are 8 weeks old today!!! They will see our vet this coming Wednesday and we will start scheduling their meet/adoptions for the weekend of the 16th. ******PLEASE KNOW***** These babies were not with their mommy after 5 weeks of age. Unfortunately she was not a great mommy and turned food aggressive towards them and we had to separate her. She was a wonderful dog in every other way, just not being a mommy. Eclipse and the Daddy both did get adopted. With being away from mom at 5 weeks and us having to raise them, the puppies have not had the benefit of learning from their mom how to be gentle. The last few weeks they do learn alot when mom is weaning them. Again for their safety this was not an option. With that being said, the puppies are nippy and jump on you. If you have babies or young children, these are not puppies for you as they will nip and jump up on them. They will need to have training and understanding as to why they are the way they are. These are babies still and will not do well in a home left in a cage or crate all day while your at work. They do currently know how to use a doggy door to go outside the adoption center to go potty faithfully. We also do not adopt to people wanting to put a dog on a chain or have an outside dog only. If these are your intentions please do not contact us to adopt as you will be denied!! Meet Eclipse and her 5 babies....... We got a call from the shelter about Eclipse, her 5 day old babies and the Daddy. Their owners surrendered them to the shelter when the babies were just a day old. They said they had to move and couldn't take their dogs with them. Why they bred them, we are clueless!!! As you see in the pictures both mom and dad are both beautiful German Shepherds. When we got the call we were able to take in the mommy and babies. At that time the 5 babies were just 5 days old. They were born on 6/15/25 (fathers day). They are now a month old and doing great. They are not ready for their new homes yet as they still have atleast 4 or so weeks before they can be adopted. There are 3 Sable like their mommy and 2 black and tan. When they are ready to go home we will then be able to schedule your pre-approved application for a meeting/adopt appointment. The babies will be vet checked and current on vaccinations, deworming, heartworm and flea prevention prior to adoption. If you are interested in adopting Eclipse the mommy, she is 3 years old. House trained, walks on a leash, good with larger dogs only. No cats or small dogs. She does she and stay and listens very well. She is a really good girl. We will update pictures as the puppies grow. They are only 4 weeks old in the picture posted.
