At just 2 years old and weighing 57 pounds, Sadie is a gentle soul who adores belly rubs, couch cuddles, and the simple joy of rolling around and making a happy ruckus while soaking up attention. She's affectionate, sensitive, and submissive indoors, often seeking comfort and closeness from her humans. Sadie knows how to sit and shake, is fully housetrained, and behaves wonderfully in her crate. She's playful around the house and enjoys walks, chewing on toys, and watching the world go by-especially if it includes her favorite activities like chasing after a toy. While she can be aloof outside the home, she warms up quickly and has shown she's capable of bonding beautifully once she feels safe and secure. Sadie currently lives with other dogs and gets along well, though she's working on improving her food and toy sharing. With consistency and gentle correction, she's already making great strides. She enjoys playing with the household cat, but due to her high prey drive, she will need to be supervised around small animals and is not a match for homes with chickens or free-roaming small pets. She's met plenty of people and is always polite, if a little reserved at first. She rides nicely in the car and walks fairly well on a leash, just pulling a little with excitement. Sadie is both a beautiful companion and a bright student, and her foster believes she'd be an excellent candidate for scent-based sports like NASDA-activities that give her a job and help build confidence and engagement with her people.
