About Bruce

Meet Bruce! 3 yr old English Bulldog. Spayed & UTD on vet care, vaccine & preventatives. Good with other dogs. Good with dog savvy cats. Kids 10+ yrs old. Physically fenced yard PREFERRED. We REQUIRE separate fencing to any bodies of water, such as pools & ponds. English bulldog experience PREFERRED. IF you haven't owned a brachiocephalic breed, please do your research before applying. Location Nashville TN area Meet Bruce - The Meatball with Muscles! Bruce is a 3-year-old, 75-pound English Bulldog who lives life with the enthusiasm of a toddler hopped up on espresso and bacon. He's got all the classic young bulldog energy-equal parts goofball, linebacker, couch potato and cuddle bug. Bruce LOVES balls, food, treats, and car rides-in that order, but really, he's not picky. If it fits in his mouth, he assumes it's his. While he's been around little kids before, we're going to be honest: Bruce's version of 'sharing' is snatching things faster than you can say 'Hey, that was mine!' He's always excited to meet new dog friends, though his bulldozer-style greetings might be a bit much for dogs who prefer a gentle hello. Think: 'WWE intro' instead of 'tea party.' Health-wise, Bruce is doing well! He does have some allergies (we suspect chicken is his frenemy), but nothing a good diet, regular medicated baths and a little TLC can't manage. Typical bulldog upkeep. He's the perfect combo of play hard, nap harder. If you're looking for a lovable loaf with a strong love for toys, stronger opinions on snack time, and a heart of gold-Bruce might just be your new best friend. Bruce is neutered and UTD on vet care, vaccines and preventatives. He is currently being fostered in Nashville TN area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up. Out of respect for our foster family's time and privacy, we do NOT arrange meet and greet without an approved application on file. His adoption fee is $500.
