This classic blue gal is Shirley Temple. She is an Australian Cattle Dog who weighs about 40 pounds. Shirley is 11 years old and still has plenty of love to give. Shirley knows a lot of hand signals: sit, stay, lay down, come, go, wait. She is house trained and also lays politely on her blanket when asked. Being deaf doesn't slow her down at all. She is still a very smart girl who looks to her people for commands. Shirley is good with people and has been around kids. She is fine with older kids but likely isn't a for for smaller kids. Shirley is fine around adult, relaxed dogs but (like so many adult dogs) isn't a fan of puppies and really busy dogs. She would prefer to be the only dog at home, so she can get all of the love. As for cats, she tolerates them. She could be fine with a chill, dog savvy cat in her new home. Shirley Temple is good on leash and walks politely past most dogs, and once in a while gets excited when another dog passes by. She is also good in the car and is a good travel pal. Shirley needs a home due to her owner having a recent injury that leaves him unable to get her out and about. She needs more than hanging out in an apartment. For her lucky new person, Shirley Temple is loving, quiet, smart, and also cuddly. She loves to get attention. Shirley is spayed. She is located in Tujunga, CA. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt. She is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt in SoCal.
