About Sugar

Sugar is a darling long-haired Chihuahua puppy, born on May 8th, and weighing in at just under 2 pounds of pure sweetness! She may be tiny now, and will stay small as she grows, but don't let her size fool you-this girl is full of adventure and curiosity. Sugar is always ready to explore her surroundings, whether it's sniffing around the yard or discovering a new favorite toy. This precious pup was surrendered to a local shelter at just 8 weeks old and is now almost 10 weeks and thriving in foster care. She's looking for a loving forever home that understands the special care a tiny dog needs. For her safety, Sugar's ideal home will not have any dogs over 20 pounds. Sugar has already received the first of her three required distemper/parvo vaccines and has been dewormed. Her future family will be responsible for completing her puppy vaccine series, her rabies vaccine at 16 weeks, and having her spayed by the time she turns one year old.
