About Stanley

Stanley is a loving, sweet and fun, four-year-old, 95-pound, male Mastiff/American Bulldog looking for a loving guardian. Stanley was relinquished by his family when he grew out of puppyhood and they realized how big he was. He is strong and muscular with a gorgeous temperament. He loves people and other dogs, but we think he'd love to be the only dog in the home to soak up all the attention. He loves to give his people big slobbery kisses. He does have a prey drive, so he's best in a home without cats or other small critters. He's also a water dog! He loves jumping in the sprinkler or in a pond. I don't know if he can actually swim! Stanley is good on walks and not at all reactive to other dogs. He's just strong. He would benefit by training and daily exercise. While he's probably housebroken, he'll need a refresher course after living in the shelter for two years. Stanley is great in the car; he hops right in and loves looking out the window. He is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm tested and on prevention, and microchipped. His adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Famous Fido Rescue.
