About Scout

It is with a heavy heart that I look to rehome my beloved Australian Shepherd. she's a truly wonderful dog - incredibly loyal, intelligent, and full of energy. She thrives when she has a job to do and loves being with people. As a classic Aussie, she has a tendency to want to control other animals and can be food driven on some occasions (controllable) I actually have two Atticus (her brother) and Scout, they are litter mates, my fianc̩ is moving in with me, she has a very very timid toy poodle .. Atticus I can work with, however I am not certain that I can trust Scout, not to harm the little poodle .. mostly I am looking for a good home for them .. painful though it is .. I would consider giving both Atticus (a Blue Merle) and Scout to the right home .. they are both very healthy, very loving dogs .. I would prefer someone who is familiar with the breed and perhaps can put them to work. They are natural herding dogs and might excel in such an environment.
