URGENT!!! WOOSTER, OHIO. (willing to drive up to 2 HRS ). EST 8-9 MONTHS OLD, FEMALE SHEPHERD/MALINOIS (DOB: UNKNOWN). Her name is 'LANA '. Background: Lana was rescued in April from an Abusive Hoarder Home and was in the shelter for less than 24 hours before the Current Shepherd Parent rescued her. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. NOT Good with YOUNG kids, OK WITH 16+. Good with dogs, OFF PROPERTY, very territorial of her home. UNKNOWN with cats. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: NO. HIGH ENERGY?:YES . HIGH PREY DRIVE?: NO. Currently on Blue Buffalo Salmon food. Weighs 45 lbs. Good with car rides?:No, gets car sick . Loves: cuddling - going on walks - chilling on the couch - playing with OLDER kids - playing with other dogs, but can get too rough and needs monitored - balls - playing fetch - being near her person - chew bones - squeaky toys. Socialized with other dogs and/or people?: She is getting better and currently taking Training Classes to work on this.. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): She is good with meeting people OFF of her property, away from her home. Very territorial of her home. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: YES. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): YES. *Good on a Leash?: FAIR. *Lovable?:VERY . *Eager and fast learner?: VERY *Food/Treat/Toy Motivated?: YES Look at this precious girl. She has had such a hard life�'�| Let's make sure her sad times are over. She is a great girl. She is a great protector. Super intelligent and learns very quickly. She is currently taking some Training Classes to help with her issues. She is very territorial of her home and property. She is also terrified of baths, but she is getting a little bit better. . Re Homing because�'�|: As stated above, Lana was rescued from an Abusive Hoarder Home, who also had several young kids in the home. Lana also shows signs of abuse from young kids. Because of this, the Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Lana because Lana has nipped/bit a couple of the young kids in the home. The Current Shepherd Parent loves Lana very much, but Lana is very afraid of kids. No action was ever taken from the nip / bites, they were both superficial. But her fear of kids is an issue and she needs a home where she can relax and thrive. Will thrive best�'�|?: In a NO YOUNG kid home. 16+ ONLY. . Comes with: collar, leashes, toys, food .
