Meet Dakota ���%A4 A Petite Husky Mix With a Big Heart Dakota is a gentle, one-year-old Husky mix with a soft spirit and a heart full of love. Surrendered to us recently, this black-and-white beauty is on the quieter side for her breed - calm, thoughtful, and oh-so-polite. Though a bit timid at first, Dakota quickly shows her true colors to those who give her a little time: she's affectionate, patient, and incredibly sweet. She even gives hugs! And when it comes to cleanliness? Let's just say her kennel is the tidiest we've ever seen - not a single mess in sight. Dakota is wonderful with children and seems to instinctively understand how to be gentle around them. She also waited respectfully for her food and water while we were cleaning - no barking, no fuss, just pure grace. She's still awaiting her first vet appointment with us, but from what we can see, she's in good shape and full of potential.
