Hi. My name is Steve. We have always been a 'dog' family. We've raised two sets of Australian Shepherd's over thirty plus years. In this environment we provided structure and routine. We played ball/catch with all of the dogs which became the highlight of the daily routine. We're not breeders we just love our dogs. We accepted 'Koda' (pure Welsh Corgi) as a re-home about 6 years ago through a friend. We noticed upon getting to know him that he is extremely smart, loves to follow directions and sensitive to loud noises and protective of food. As we integrated Koda into our home it was clear that he thrives on structure. We have taken great care to show him Love (as we do with our other dogs) and he responded quite well. He's been very good on a lead and enjoys walks and especially playing ball. Last year we lost our beloved female Aussie. We have a 14yr old male Aussie with hearing and eyesight issues and is in his end of life stage..... We have concerns about Koda and how he is going to respond to grandchildren and even future puppies. We truly believe that he deserves to more that we can offer him. Lastly, this has been a difficult decision to make but we are convinced that he is so smart, vibrant and loyal and belongs in an environment where he can thrive! Best Regards.
