About Butters

We are helping the owner rehome her dog. Here is what she writes�'�| Butters was found abandoned at a reservation store, August 28, 2024 at around 8 weeks old. She's mixed breed & around 40 lbs. She's very smart & sweet but has started fighting with one of out female dogs. She's fine with our other dogs. She's gone through puppy and intermediate (June) training classes at Petsmart and knows the basic commands well and walks well on a leash. She's very good in a crate & sleeps in her crate at night. She was raised with cats but likes to play with cats. Some tolerate her, some don't. Butters gets along with our 3 male dogs and 1 female dog (close to her age) but fights with our 4 year old female. Plays well with the dogs she likes. Rides really well in the car.�%A0 She's starting to play fetch-sometimes brings toy back, sometimes goes off with it. But she releases toys easily and takes them softly. Loves all kinds of toys-filled Kong, nylabone, ropes, balls, stuffies. May play with stuffies gently for weeks, or may focus on chewing & remove squeaker and stuffing. Gets excited for treats and may snatch from fingers, but has not been food agressive with people or dogs. Tolerated fireworks & noise well. Does pretty well with baths, nail trims, teeth brushing. A little wiggly with coat �%A0brushing (tickle-y). She's spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations & heartworm preventative. She's in Casa Grande, AZ
