About Vixen

In foster, please reach out to meet me! Hello, my name is Vixen. I'm around 2 years old and have a bit of a story-one that the shelter staff can share more about when you meet me. To keep it brief, I was caught in a live trap and rescued with a catchpole, which kept everyone safe during my rescue. It was a scary experience, but I'm safe now and learning to trust again. Despite everything, I'm actually a very sweet and gentle girl. I just need some time, patience, and a quiet environment to fully come out of my shell. I'm making progress with the shelter staff, great with other dogs, kids, and cats. Walking on a leash is still a work in progress, but I'm trying! My kennel, with its cozy pillows and toys, is my safe space. I would love a foster or adopter with experience and a big heart to help me rebuild my trust in humans. If you can provide me with the patience and understanding I need, I know I can thrive. Will you help me write the next chapter of my story
