About Betty

Meet Betty, a CFA registered, Silver Shaded, full-bred Exotic Shorthair cat. She is the cutest, cuddliest, friendliest, little angel! Unfortunately over the past 4 years she has been experiencing a skin condition was misdiagnosed. Last year she started biting her tail, resulting in her correct diagnosis of ringworm and her days in an Elizabethan collar. She must be in her collar to prevent tail injury unless she's eating or having supervised free time. She has cleared the infection after oral treatment and lime sulfur, but it has since returned. We think the best thing for her is a new environment, and new owners who can give her a chance to heal and the love she deserves. I cannot say enough about her personality. She is great with all pets and kids, not an aggressive or instinctual bone in her body. She is all cuddles, eating, playing, and sleeping. She is the perfect lap kitty. A true dream pet! She just needs someone who will take care of her likely temporary special needs and stick with her through the healing process!
