Thankfully, his rescuer stepped in just in time, scooping him up and giving him the second chance he deserved. Ever since, Freckles has been showing his gratitude the best way he knows how: with his adorable chatter and irresistible smile. This charming guy is equal parts lap dog and couch potato. He's happiest lounging beside you, but don't be fooled - when the weather cools off, Freckles loves to bounce around the yard and soak up the fresh air. He's fully potty trained, sleeps in his kennel like a champ (even if he secretly prefers a plush bed), and gets along beautifully with both cats and dogs of all sizes. Freckles is a dream on a leash and a true joy on car rides. Once he settles in and knows he's home, he takes his job as house protector very seriously - but in the sweetest, most loyal way. He may think he rules the house, but that's only because he loves so big.
