About Leah

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] I'm reaching out to find a loving home for Leah, a sweet and affectionate dog who truly deserves the best. Leah is polite, eager to please, and listens well to commands. She has a lot of energy and loves to run around the yard, making her a wonderful companion for an active family. Leah was adopted from the Maricopa County Animal Shelter by a family friend, but after their passing, my mother took her in. Unfortunately, my mother is now moving to an assisted living facility and cannot take Leah with her. We already have three dogs and, sadly, cannot accommodate another. Leah is currently on medication for incontinence, which is a common medical issue for some female dogs and not behavioral. We source her medication from Chewy.com. She enjoys regular grooming every 4-6 weeks and is well cared for. We believe Leah would thrive in a single-pet household where she can receive plenty of attention and love. A family that can take her on walks or has a decent-sized yard for her to explore would be ideal. While she has gotten along with our other dog, she has not been around cats. She's good with adults but I've not seen her around children. Leah is approximately 35 pounds, 3 to 4 years old, and is a mix of Miniature Australian Shepherd, Australian Kelpie, McNab, and Border Collie, according to her DNA test results. She is housetrained, microchipped, spayed, current on her vaccinations, and had her teeth cleaned at Pet Dental in 2024.
