About Maya

Meet Maya, our sweet and lovable German Shepherd! She is spayed, friendly, and has never shown any signs of aggression while in our care. Maya enjoys playing with my 2-year-old daughter and still displays her adorable prance walk. She loves playing fetch and knows basic commands such as sit, turn around, shake, and lay down. One of her quirky habits is sticking her whole face in her water dish to cool off! Maya was given to us when she was just a year and a half old and was not potty trained. We worked hard to potty train her, and she has mastered all the commands we taught her. She is a wonderful and loyal companion. Maya has had her vaccinations in the past, and when tested for titers, she showed that she still had the necessary antibodies, so further vaccinations were unnecessary. It's important to note that about a year ago, she experienced an anal gland infection which can be challenging to resolve, but it can be managed. I need to find her a new home by the end of next week, Friday, July 18. If you're looking for a loving and playful dog, Maya would make a perfect addition to your family!
