'Bingo' and her sister showed up at our front door the morning of July 7th. They are beautiful, apparently purebred, cattle dogs. We attempted to get them to go home, but they stayed. Bingo is sweet and loves being around people. She's my shadow around the farm. She's still protective of food and water, growling if my dog walks too close to the area that we have set up for her on the porch. She's also eager to please her newly befriended human company. She is submissive and cuddly, wanting to get on laps and needing lots of affection. I think she will be good with children, given time to be comfortable. She has not been aggressive towards me or my husband, even around her food. She could be a great family dog! She has battle scars from a life lived outside, but otherwise appears healthy, albeit a bit thin. I have treated her for ticks, as she was covered when she showed up. Unfortunately, her partner was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning and killed. We want to find this girl a permanent home or a foster placement as our lifestyle cannot support another pet at this time.
