The LA city shelter is full and is asking for help for dear little August. Please help us find a good home, or foster and rescue, for this very adorable boy who was found as a stray on 6/23. The South LA shelter fondly named him, and estimates he is 6 years old and he weighs only 25.9 lbs so he is perfect size for many. Although August came in rather shy and shaking (who knows what he had been through being dumped on the streets), he can be seen in video being very loving, and clearly warms up once he feels comfortable, as is typical of the chow breed. A slow intro with other dogs is therefore recommended, calmer dogs would likely be recommended with him.
