About Hades

Mastiff
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

URGENT - DEADLINE JULY 16 @ 4PM Hades (A248373) Hades is a stunning 4-year-old, 90 lb Cane Corso who was heartbreakingly surrendered to Pinal County Animal Care and Control when his family lost their housing. His previous owners shared that Hades is great with women and children, though he hasn't had much exposure to men. Still, he's been friendly with male staff at the shelter. Hades is leash trained, house trained, knows 'sit,' and has a very calm, chill demeanor. He previously lived with a female Cane Corso (who has since been adopted) and is reportedly good with other dogs and even cats. Unfortunately, the stress of kennel life is hitting Hades hard, and he's now on a deadline. Inside the shelter, the constant noise and confinement are taking a toll, but outside, he's a completely different dog-friendly, loving, and easygoing. He just needs a safe, stable environment where he can decompress and be the gentle companion he truly is. One thing to note: Hades has shown a tendency to guard his food, so his new home will need to be mindful of that and manage feeding situations carefully, especially around other pets or children. Hades is at risk of euthanasia if not adopted, fostered, or rescued by July 16th at 4PM. Please help get this gentle giant out of the kennel and into the loving home he deserves.
