URGENT - EXTENDED DEADLINE JULY 23 @ 4PM Rocky (A279393) Rocky is a 1.5-year-old neutered Shepherd mix who was surrendered to Pinal County Animal Care and Control after not getting along with the other male dog in his home during feeding time. His previous owners shared that he was wonderful with men, women, and children. Rocky is housebroken, crate trained, and has participated in shelter playgroups, doing well with social, playful dogs. He is a very sweet dog-outside of the kennel-but sadly, the shelter environment is causing him severe stress. He's now on a time-sensitive deadline due to kennel stress that has led to weight loss, pacing, spinning, vocalizing, and difficulty going in and out of his kennel. Rocky desperately needs a chance to decompress. He'd thrive in a home with social, playful dogs who can help him build confidence. While he may be barky at first, a slow introduction is all he needs. What Rocky truly needs most is to get out of the shelter and into a loving home before it's too late.
