About Gunner

URGENT - EXTENDED DEADLINE JULY 18 @ 4PM Gunner (A278222) Gunner is a 3-year-old, Cane Corso mix breed, 55 lb neutered pup who was found as a stray back in November 2024. Since then, he's been waiting patiently at Pinal County Animal Care and Control, and despite being a truly good boy, he's now found himself on a deadline due to the toll long-term shelter confinement has taken on him. Gunner is friendly with people, walks politely on a leash, is housebroken, rides calmly in the car, and takes treats gently. He's truly a loving and easygoing companion outside the chaos of the kennel. Unfortunately, Gunner hasn't playgroups and has not successfully integrated into dog playdates. While he is not reactive on leash, Gunner will need to be the only pet in his future home to thrive. He's reached his limit emotionally at the shelter and is showing signs of stress that worsen by the day.
