About Ruger

Ruger--Labradoodle male, ~ 2-3 yr. (July 2025) Contact [email protected] for an application Ruger came to Rescue from a Trainer of service dogs through a Prison Program. He's been living and training at the Prison. The trainer is closing her business, due to health issues but wants to continue to help the dogs that she trained, so asked us to help him find a new home. Ruger is house and crate trained. He knows about grooming and riding in the car. The Trainer said he's a very human loving dog, always so happy and excited to see her, and is good with other dogs. Children are unknown, so a home with older children/teens and adults only are the best for him. He has a lot of energy and is a big dog, about 75#. Cats are also an unknown, but he will be tested, once he's out of the Prison Program His adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
