If you're looking for the perfect combination of charm, cuddles, and character, say hello to Chase! This adorable 4-year-old Yorkshire Terrier is 9 pounds of sweet, scruffy personality wrapped in a teddy bear-sized package. Chase is a lovable little guy with medium to low energy who thrives in a calm, cozy home where he can be both your lap companion and your shadow in the kitchen, especially when he suspects a tasty treat might hit the floor! Chase is quiet and content most of the time, with a soft bark that only makes an appearance when he's asking to be picked up or wants some attention. Chase just had a full dental cleaning and got a clean bill of health. He absolutely loves his toys - plushies, squeaky toys, and soft fetch toys are his favorites, and he's quite the entertainer when he's playing keep-away with them. At night, he enjoys snuggling on the bed for some belly rubs, rolling around on his back until he's satisfied, then settling peacefully in his crate for a restful sleep. He also seeks out his crate for quiet time during the day. While Chase is mostly house-trained, he does best on a consistent routine. He'll use potty pads if needed and goes outside regularly, but he needs a watchful eye after meals to help guide him. He's great on a leash, enjoys walks, and rides calmly in a crate during car trips. Chase does have a bossy streak when it comes to his toys or food, and he likes to remind other dogs that his things are his. He would be happiest not having to share. He currently lives with a larger dog and has adjusted ok, although he likes to be the center of attention and becomes a little possessive of his person. For this reason, he'd do best in a home with Yorkie-experienced adults as he's small, quick underfoot, and has a big personality in a tiny body. Overall, Chase is an endearing little guy who's come a long way and is ready to enjoy the spoiled life he deserves. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, plenty of plush toys, and a devoted person to love him. He's full of charm, and once he bonds with you, he's your loyal life companion.
