Protective instincts kick in when unexpected movements or unusual sounds capture his attention, but he's effortlessly guided back on track by gentle words, as he's deeply committed to delighting his human. He responds to calls, graciously exits my chair with a simple 'off' command, retires to 'bed' on cue, comprehends 'potty' and 'outside' and is crate trained. With a zest for life, he revels in running freely both indoors and outdoors, yet equally cherishes snuggling up for laptime.
