About Dimitri or Binky

Due to new circumstances, we are looking for somebody to temporarily foster Dimitri, for 3-4 months. We plan to look for a new home and need some time to save up after having just recently moved here. Thank you to any kind soul that can help. Dimitri is a 89lb lapdog who is generally wary of new people. He prefers women and is very protective of children, especially our 8 y/o son. His mother was a malinois but we are unsure of his father's breed- we suspect a bully breed of some sort based of his face and body build. Dimitri does not like to be pet by people he doesn't know. He will growl and huff to tell you to back off but has never bitten or tried to bite anybody. He can be a bit mouthy when excited/playing and is not recommended for an owner without physical strength. Unfortunately, there have been complaints about the growling to our HOA, and other residents feel intimidated by his size. We can not afford to move again right this second, so in the interest of others' safety and his own safety, we have made the decision to find him a new hom for a few months. I would give anything to see Dimitri find a loving home with space to run.
