About Groovy

Hi! My name is Groovy - my full name is much longer because my parents were show dogs, I didn't quite make the cut, which is fine with me, because I love being a companion dog, going for walks, car rides, or laying on the sofa with my person. I will be 2 years old on August 21st which makes me a Virgo and I weigh 60lbs. My current mom has taught me to be potty-trained, plus a lot of commands, like sit and stay when we are getting ready to go out the door - she does not want me taking off before she is ready. She taught me to heel as we walk, and when other dogs come around because I am still a puppy, my mom tells me to sit, which I do, usually on her feet, and we quietly watch the other dogs walk by and then we continue our walks. I am spayed and have all of my shots; my current mom takes exceptionally good care of me and loves me a lot. Unfortunately, while I was in heat before getting spayed, my dad's dog and I, who I was really close to, no longer get along, so my mom has to find a new forever home for me, we are both incredibly sad about that. My mom wants to make sure that I find a home that will give me and my person a lot of joy, my nose is not shaped like a heart by accident, it is because I have a lot of love to give.
