Meet Presley - The Retired Working Girl with a Heart of Gold Presley spent her earlier years as a hardworking cattle dog, but now she's ready for the sweet, peaceful life of being part of a loving family. She's traded open pastures for cozy blankets and warm cuddles-and she's learning quickly what it means to be an indoor dog. Presley is still figuring out some of the basics, like house manners and potty training, but she's already come such a long way in her foster home. She tries so hard to do the right thing, and with patience and gentle guidance, she will continue to blossom. She's got the wisdom of age and the heart of a pup-all she needs is someone willing to walk with her on this journey. She adores other dogs and loves to play and race around with them. But when the zoomies are done, Presley is the ultimate cuddle buddy. She'll melt into your side, resting her soft head in your lap, as if to say, 'I'm here for you, too.' She bonds deeply and thrives on connection-more than treats or toys, she just wants to be your dog. Presley is a bit jumpy with sudden sounds or changes, so a calmer home, preferably with a yard or some land to stretch her legs, would be ideal. She walks well on a leash, and has great off-leash recall-just don't tie her up, as that's something she doesn't care for. This sweet girl is quiet, gentle, and always watching and learning. She'd do wonderfully in a home with other dogs to show her the ropes and with people who are patient, loving, and willing to continue helping her adapt to home life. Presley isn't just looking for a home-she's looking for her pack, her place, and most of all, her person. Could that be you? Presley is about 5 years old, current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400. She is being fostered in Culver, OR.
