About Toffee

Toffee is a gorgeous, sweet, and gentle, five-year-old, 13-pound female calico cat with golden green eyes looking for a loving guardian. Born to momma Buttons in our rescue in 2020, the couple who adopted her broke up and the man who kept her moved in with a woman with allergies. So, Toffee was returned to our rescue. Toffee has already lost two pounds in the two months since she's been back in rescue. She has switched from an all dry kibble fattening diet, to a slimming canned diet. She can still stand to lose a couple more pounds. Toffee, while a tad bit shy at first, is very loving and sweet with people and other cats. She's fine with dogs who don't chase or bother her. She loves to be brushed and play with her catnip toys. She has proven to be all-around fabulous feline who uses her litter box faithfully and loves a good scratch on her scratching post. Toffee also loves crinkle toys, mouse toys, anything sprayed with catnip spay, running through her tunnel or hiding in her donut. Toffee is healthy, spayed, dewormed, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus tested negative for FIV/Felv, and microchipped. She is easy to hold and allows you to trim her nails. She is looking for a family that will take her into their heart and home and give her the life she deserves.
