'Ballerina ٩%90%BE Now about 11%BD months old, this stunning Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix has been through so much but continues to move forward with quiet resilience. She's on the smaller side for her mix-likely due to early malnutrition-and probably won't grow beyond 40 lbs. During her pre-surgery bloodwork, Ballerina tested positive for Lyme disease-an unfortunately common tick-borne illness. While it can cause joint pain and fatigue, it's very manageable with medication and care, and she's already on a treatment plan. ջ Currently in a foster home near Binghamton, NY, Ballerina is searching for a patient, nurturing foster home to help her continue building trust and confidence. She's gentle, observant, and so deserving of a fresh start. Will you help her find safety and love? All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.'
