This 10-year-old Shih Tzu has been through a lot recently, but he's facing life's changes with the same gentle spirit that has always defined him. Ozzie's world was turned upside down when one of his beloved owners passed away and the other moved into a nursing home. Suddenly, this devoted little dog found himself without the people he's always known-but not without hope. Now, he's searching for a new lap to curl up in and a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years. Despite all he's been through, Ozzie remains incredibly sweet, easygoing, and affectionate. His favorite place to be? Wherever you are. Whether it's snuggled beside you on the couch, curled up in your lap, or quietly following you around the house, Ozzie simply wants to be near his person. He does beautifully in a quiet home and gets along well with other gentle dogs. His hearing isn't what it once was, but he still responds to kind voices and loves gentle touch and soft affection. His soulful eyes say it all-this little guy just wants to love and be loved. Ozzie is in good health for his age, and he recently had a dental, leaving him with just three teeth-but don't worry, it only adds to his charm (and his soft-food connoisseur status!). His needs are simple: a soft bed, a peaceful environment, regular grooming, and, most of all, a human to call his own.
